Jason Bowcutt

Jason Bowcutt is the Community Programs and Performing Arts Manager for the Utah Division of Arts and Museums. During his tenure with the agency he has managed programs such as the Mountain West Arts Conference – the annual statewide gathering of cultural organizations and individuals, OnStage in Utah – a statewide performing arts touring grant, Change Leader – an intensive training on leadership and change management skills, Breaking Barriers: A Cultural Accessibility Project – a program that has trained cultural organizations to become more accessible to all communities, the Utah Artists Fellowship – the highest honor an individual artist in Utah can receive in recognition of their work and career, and Creative Aging – a program that trains and grants individuals and organizations to provide artistic opportunities to older adults. Jason is a graduate of the University of Utah’s Theatre Program and has a long history of working as a professional actor and director in theatres across the country. Jason is a Co-Founding Director of the New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, a community-building organization for New York’s indie theatre community. Jason currently serves as a board member for the regional performing arts organization Arts Northwest and has previously served on the boards of the Utah Arts Alliance and the Utah Pride Center.
